I highly recommend this book.A moving account of resilience, hope, fear and mortality, and how these things resonate in our lives, by actor and advocate Michael J. I love when an author reads their own book - he puts great inflections, pauses etc into his reading, as if you're sitting in his living room and he's talking to you. For me, he was speaking a little to quickly and since he doesn't always enunciate well, I had a hard time understanding him at the 100% speed. At first, I had a hard time understanding Michael, but I slowed the rate down to 85% and it was perfect. Tracy is an amazing wife for how she has not only stuck by him, but has gone above and beyond. Michael does a great job sharing with us his experiences without whining but also not acting like it's all a piece of cake. He's not as upbeat in this book, as he has been living with PD for many years and has had some decline. He wrote a book in between these two, but I haven't read that one.
